Re.NIGERIANS IN SPAIN DIVIDED OVER FEDERATION ELECTION;  A FALLACY BY A SPANISH CITIZEN.

“When in the middle of a river, do not insult a crocodile”.  My attention has been drawn to the purported mischievous publication in Daily times of December 2, 2015 by Emmanuel Udiebe, a Spanish citizen who fraudulently claimed to be the president of Federation of Nigerian Community Spain (FNCS) until November 28 when a deserving new president was democratically elected by the Nigerian community in Spain. Before I proceed I would like to point out that the accredited 

interview or speech to Daily times by Udiebe lacks journalistic essence, merit and credibility. If really the interview or report was conducted by Daily times, it then brings to question the standard of professional derogation a reputable media outfit like the daily times has by commission or by omission degenerated to, as interviews, reports and articles by a paper must bear the name of the reporter even if not his name but his pen name. Even the photo used contradicts the article as it was not on the spot photo of an interview if at all it was conducted by a daily times reporter. Any one that has the hindsight of media presentation and content will know that the publication was fabricated as it lacks coherence, chronology and synergy of facts. Well I have no time to dwell on that until another day.

As a journalist, my profession lays on me the onus of a watchdog and societal watchman. In exact sense, like a literal guard dog that barks when it observes a trespasser, my duty requires informing others when problem is noticed. And as a guardian, I have to provide the citizens with adequate information they must have about their leaders as to prevent the abuse of power by those in authority and to inform the people about those that are causing them harm. Therefore I cannot keep silent when a citizen of a different nationality trespasses his boundaries to Nigerian territory to blackmail, insult, and cause chaos to fellow Nigerians only for him to retire to the comfort of his acclaimed country after setting fire to engulf Nigeria. By all ramifications I am a Nigerian and still reaffirm my pledge and loyalty to Nigeria and can proudly say;

I pledge to Nigeria my country

  To be faithful, loyal and honest

  To serve Nigeria with all my strength

  To defend her unity, and uphold her honour and glory

  So help me God.

I want to use this medium to refute the fallacious article by Udiebe, a disgruntled Spanish citizen and to let Nigerians know the facts and the truth surrounding his actions.  Udiebe by his ubiquitous reverberations has inadvertently shot himself in the foot and will face the consequences of his criminal and fraudulent actions for deceitfully holding claim to the president of FNCS after he has denounced Nigerian citizenship for Spanish nationality. And by Spanish regulations he ceases to be a Nigerian citizen and has no right to interfere in the affairs of Nigerians. Udiebe who travelled to Nigeria with visa and a Spanish passport is the same person claiming leadership and dictating how election of FNCS should be run. Is that not a slap in the face of Nigerians in Spain?  Below is what a Spanish citizen, Helen Mukoro who knows his antics posted about Emmanuel Udiebe.

Mr Emmanuel O Udieba is no more a Nigerian, he was granted Spanish nationality in 2014 and has been issued his Spanish ID card and Passport in December 2014, what he should have done by then is to hand over power to the Federation, it would be nice if he does not postpone his leadership as such leadership was supposed to cease from the very day he was issued the Spanish ID and Passport, he was supposed to humbly call the Embassy and the Federation to announce he's no more a Nigerian, declare the presidency seat vacant and hand over power with immediate effect. His continuity in office may have a serious problem with the Spanish government if they find out he's a Spanish citizen and still heads a Country's Federation he renounced the nationality at the Civil Registry. His personal matters does not have any legal power over the celebrations of the elections, all you need do, is to move ahead with the election agenda and declare a winner, give the credencials to the Embassy and life goes on!!!!

Udiebe’s claim about police report is absolutely lies. He by no means contributed to the reduction of police report or consular charges fee. Rather, unknown to Nigerians he has been using the police report exercise as a goldmine to the detriment of Nigerians. He is yet to account for about Eur 12,000 (N2,880,000) that was realized by FNCS during the 2014 police report exercise. Seeing that the police report exercise has become a goldmine and like an oil boom for him and his newly found ally and kinsman, the president of Madrid region Lamptey, who was initially calling for his auditing for the police report money, a ploy he Lamptey used to divert attention and sweep under the carpet from probing and auditing him too from the huge sums of money Madrid Nationals realized from the same exercise that is yet to be accounted for. The duo that have no meaningful job, nomina and means of sustenance in Spain other than living on the proceeds from the purse of the Nigerian communities.

Having tasted juicy linings of proceeds from the purse of the Nigerian community in Spain, like Oliver Twist who would always want some more, prior to the coming of the police for the just concluded exercise in September, they connived and went to the embassy and entreated the head of consul to increase the price of the police report with additional eur15.00. The embassy declined stating that rather than increase the price, the FNCS should stay out of the exercise.  The question is who then has the interest of Nigerians at heart? Is it Udiebe and his allies or the consul and the embassy that said no? The Spanish citizen did not stop there, seeing that the consul and the embassy did not fall prey to his fraudulent device; he resorted to another scheme to impose his newly found ally to succeed him by all means as to cover their intransigencies. As that crafty scheming met a road block, he resorted to his campaign of calumny to blackmail the name of the embassy of Nigeria and the newly posted head of consul who is serving Nigerians diligently.

I hereby inform all well-meaning Nigerians both at home and abroad that Udiebe’s assertion that Nigerians in Spain are divided over federation election is a mere fallacy motivated with a malicious and selfish intent to create hatred disunity and chaos among Nigerians in Spain.  The election was held on November 28, and a deserving winner emerged in the person of Prince Taiwo Adesegun who was sworn in as the President of FNCS. And no region or persons have raised any objection to the election of the new executive.  And the embassy of Nigeria in Spain and its staff were by no means partisan but only played an advisory role where necessary during the process which ended very well.  For Udiebe, he should know that; “He who fetches firewood infested with ants invites lizards to his house”

PROFESSOR JUDAS AND HIS RANTINGS...!!!

I am deeply miffed by what took place on the 29th of August, 2015 in Murcia. I am pained by the fact that I was not in attendance in Murcia for the congress of the Federation of Nigeria Communities in Spain (FNCS), but my name was on fire. This was at the prompt of one professor “Judas Illusion” who has since the days of yore, held Nigerians and the Nigeria nation in Spain on their juglars for reasons of egoism.

I can aptly liken it to the popular rendition of one of Africa´s most gifted music icon, the late Olufela Anikulapo Kuti of eternal memory which goes thus...... Trubledey sleep, Iyanga go wake....am wetin ee dey fine...palava ee dey fine...palava ee go get...Palavaaa when Cat sleep....rat go bite eem tail...na wetin ee dey find for murcia....ooooo? palava ee got get..ooooo. Palava…aaa, Mr. landlord know say him tenant lost his job, and month com eeeend he say.....oga pay me your rent..o na wetin e dey fine.......? palava him e dey find

and na palava ee go get…ooooho? Palava na eem e dey find and na palava ee go get..oooo..! et-al....!

I will not be mindful of my language, in-here-so-far professor “Judas Illusion” has touched my tail when i was sleeping jejeje. Nigeria is our fatherland and i am proud to be a Nigerian anywhere, any day and at any forum.

Some years ago, professor “Judas Illusion” and some egocentric individuals with the sole aim of emasculating the future, fortunes and destinies of the entire Nigeria nationals resident in the Royal Kingdom of Spain, decided to form a federation with the tacit backing of the then ambassador whose name i will not mention herein, because it has no relevance to this article. After the formation of this pain inflicting federation, he assumed the presidency thereof un-opposed, and began to rule like king Nebuchadnezzar-using the federation as an instrument of distortion of facts and realities and as a medium to surreptitiously drain their pockets in total connivance with the embassy hierarchy as it were then. Thereafter, they came with a far reaching caveat against fellow Nigerians. They intardem, went to the Spanish authorities to have a “tete-a-tete” with them. Guess what? They sold a far reaching dummy to them. They informed the Spanish authorities that all the police character certificates submitted by Nigerians from Nigeria are all forged or faked by the Nigerians within Spain. To that end, they proposed to them to stop the acceptance of any police character certificate from Nigerians except it passes through the embassy.

The Spanish authorities who has been eavesdropping to unveil the perceived mysteries surrounding the Nigerian people, jumped in to harvest the fruits of that information. Nigerians were consequently asked to stop submitting police character certificates brought by themselves. That was the beginning of pains for Nigerians. Nigerians spent the whole of 2006 and 2007 without police character certificates that would have enabled them to process either their resident permits or for other important uses. The pangs received by Nigerians remain fresh in my memory. That was the game plan and it worked in their favour. During this period, professor “Judas Illusion” virtually turned the embassy to his ersonal farm. Of course, he was the de facto ambassador. He was the enfante terrible in Madrid-lording it over Nigerians and the embassy. He had an unnanounced office inside the embassy. He was the Napoleon at the embassy. No dared ask him any question. He was the alter ego between the Nigerian nation and the embassy.

Nigerians cried blood, yet, no one paid attention to their plight. Professor "Judas Illusion" and co., were waiting for Nigerians to come cap in hand to ask for police character certificates through the help of the embassy. And that was what happened eventually. Professor “Judas Illusion” knows he had no need of police character certificate because he is already a Methusellah in Spain-having obtained his Spanish nationality when most of us were in our mothers womb or still in heaven or not even created needless to know if we will be made human beings and sent to this sinful world. In conjunction with the then ambassador, they connived and inflicted pains on fellow Nigerians by pegging the police character certificate that would not have cost more than 50€ (fifty euros) at a ridiculous price of 160€ (One hundred euros.) Guess what!? He shamelessly came out to tell Nigerians that he fought so hard with the ambassador to reduce it to that price and that is the best he can do for Nigerians. He even demanded for applause for that ignoble feat.

Cry my fellow Nigerians!

Still not done, he single-handedly wrote the constitution of the federation with a portion stating that the incumbent (himself), has the sole prerogative to appoint his successor. That is to tell you how drunk he is with power. Professor “Judas Ilussion” never cease to amaze any learned mind. He held on to power for so many years without organizing any election and of course, the constitution as it were then, never stated when the tenure of the excos of the federation expires. So, they were the Mobutus of the federation until we rose up in unism against his totalitarian rule. He tried to cling on to power but forces beyond his contention did not allow him any further space to operate. He then decided to relinguish power willy-nilly to his surrogates that eventually brought the out-going president, Mr. Emmanuel Oghekevwe Udieba to power. That was the brash heart he brought to ELCHE in 2011.

The fact is that power is stronger than the Russia Vodka, professor “Judas Illusion” felt something has gone out of him because... "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." He felt empty. He knew he lost his cherished empire-the federation of Nigeria Communities in Spain (FNCS.) The moment “Judas Illusion” noticed that power had gone out of him, just as virtue would leave a woman that delivered newly, he reversed to perversive means and methods to re-implant himself back into the mainstream decision making organ of the federation. He has so much love for power and has arrogated same to himself which he has consistently exhibited umpteenth time by barging into the federation congress at will without being invited-all in a bid to meddle into the affairs of the federation and to assuage his egocentric propaganda in the name of the founding father of the federation-a coinage so sickening to the ears of a well-informed fellow like my humble-self.

That´s absolute bunkum!

Why was he in MURCIA? It was based on an email which i circulated prior to the final ammendments and ratification of the present constitution where a paragraph stated that any Nigerian with Spanish nationality can contest ,for elective post as an executive of the Federation. That was the sore point and i dare state once again, it is oprobrious and an affront to our national sovereignty! First and foremost, the name "Federation of Nigerian Communities in Spain" is as clear as crystal in the sense that, it was not registered as "The federation of Nigeria and Spanish Communities in Spain." Without any ambiguity, it is a well known fact that as soon as you take up the challenge of abandoning your paternal nation, you are no longer a citizen of such nation any more, except where the constitution of such nation dictates otherwise. In this context, Nigeria had no Memorandum of Understanding or any bilateral agreement with the Royal Kingdom of Spain on dual nationality, hence it becomes an anathema for any ex-Nigeria to become an exco of the Federation.

The infusion of this obnoxious paragraph portends grave danger in the long run-as it equally gives a Spanish national the opportunity to vie for an elective office in the Federation and none of can agitate otherwise because it is part and parcel of our constitution. This is the point i am making very clear before the Nigerian nation in Spain. It may not suffice today, because some greedy elements who have obtained this status are angling for posts and positions in the Federation and as such, they never sees anything wrong in its infusion thereof until it veers off their blighted sights, but time will tell. With the infusion of this offensive paragraph, the Federation sits pretty on a keg of gun powder and it may explode any moment from now. Mark my word!

I wish professor “Judas Illusion” knows what it means to be a founding father, he would have sat quietly in his Leganes home and wait to be honoured as such rather than using deriding tactics and antics to force the federation to recognize him as such. It is so debasing and of course an insipid language so obscene to mention. The obsenity of his presence is liken to halitosis before me.  It was the same man that infused the contentious paragraph that a Nigerian who wilfully swore to an oath before a Spanish judge that he is no longer a Nigerian can still come and contest for an executive position in the federation against the constitution of the Royal Kingdom of Spain and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It so bemusing that a man who claims to be a professor could not interprete the constitution of his fatherland regardless of the fact that he has disown it many years ago.

Oh´ professor? Yes, i am not surprise, because in Spain a kindergarten teacher is equally called professor. So, it suffices to mention it anywhere where peopkle who do not know what it means in Spain and they get carried by the nam-”professor.” We in Spain knows better! In Nigeria and other parts of elightened world, a professor knows his onions.

For the avoidance of doubt, the constitution of the Federal Republic

of Nigeria states and i paste herein as follows........

Section 28. (1) Subject to the other provisions of this section, a person shall forfeit forthwith his Nigerian citizenship if, not being a citizen of Nigeria by birth, he acquires or retains the citizenship or nationality of a country, other than Nigeria, of which he is not a citizen by birth.(2) Any registration of a person as a citizen of Nigeria or the grant of a certificate of naturalization to a person who is a citizen of a country other than Nigeria at the time of such

registration or grant shall, if he is not a citizen by birth of that other country, be conditional upon effective renunciation of the citizenship or nationality of that other country within a period of not more than five months from the date of such registration or grant.29. (1) Any citizen of Nigeria of full age who wishes to renounce his Nigerian citizenship shall make a declaration in the prescribed manner for the renunciation.(2) The President shall cause the declaration made under subsection (1) of this section to be registered and upon such registration, the person who made the declaration shall cease to be a citizen of Nigeria.”

From the above paragraphs where does the position of dual nationality stands between a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Spain? Your judgement is as good as mine!

Every time the vexed issue of Spanish nationality comes for discuss, professor “Judas Illusion” always refer to some members of the national assembly that are having dual citizenships without taking into due cognizance of the Memoradum of Undwerstanding (MoU) between the countries that allowed for dual citizenship vis-a-vis that of Nigeria and Spain. I must sound it loud and clear herein that Nigeria and Spain has no relationship in terms of dual citizenship and they may never have it till the end of time, because we have nothing in common in terms of political, cultural, traditional and economic affinity. Therefore, it will be a mere wishful thinking to believe that one day, that will be a reality. Instead, it will be a mirage!

On that fateful 29th of August, 2015 i was away from the congress due my work schedules, but professor “Judas Illusion” drove all the way from Madrid to Murcia all in a bid to come and attack Mr. Flourish for daring to comment against the inclusion of this offensive paragraph into the constitution of the federation. He came barking like an asaltian shepalute dog, that, he came because of Mr. Flourish. If professor "UWUJAKPOR" knows what it means to be called a professor which he claims he is, he would have with-held his peace having known that Mr. Flourish was not in that august gathering as a mark of respect for him and Mr. Flourish until such a time he is chanced to meet with Mr. Flourish. Instead, he went ahead to exhibit his ignorance of the prefix attached to his name and began to vent his frustrations on members who never bargained for his presence-thereby dirupting the smooth running of the congress of which he was not an invitee. What a bum! A shameful and despicable act i will always laugh off till i depart Spain.

What professor “Judas Illusion” never know is the he is political a spent force and a failure. Economically, he is an egoistic vulture. Socially, he is an outcast and a psychopath. He has failed the Nigeria nationals in Madrid which he claims to represent. Throughout his innumerable years as both the president of Nigeria nationals in Madrid and the federation, there was no single record of any achievenment, yet, he has the effrontery to trump up himself as an elder states man. If i were him, i would drop any political toga attached with my name and roost quitely in the comfort of his professorship in recluse and save myself the hassles of barrage of embarrassments he faces here and there due to his intransigencies.

A word is enough for the wise!

 Though fools don´t know what they have got until it is lost!

Profeesor “Judas Illusion”, go to hell, because the issue of that offensive paragraph will surely be settled by the ambassador at the appropriate time and we in Cataluña region will never vote for any candidate that has Spanish nationality come next federation election. Mark my word!

ARREST OF NNAMDI KALU: TRAVAILS OF NDIGBO IN THE HANDS OF THE DESPOTO-CRATIC BUHARI

On Saturday, the 17th of October, 2015 the Muhammadu Buhari led despoto-cracy, has yet committed another grave blunder by arresting and detaining the Director of radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kalu, who flew in from the United Kingdom to his home country, Nigeria. Upon presentation of his documents for clearance at the airport, he was immediately pounced upon and whisked away to undisclosed location by the overzealous and poverty stricken men from the DSS. Till now, there has been no words from the monstrous DSS, neither has the government told the entire Nigeria nation and the larger world, why and what led to the arrest of an innocent citizen who is merely exercising his inalienable right by agitating for the Sovereign State of Biafra.

All over the world, it is the constitutional right of the people, groups, regions, tribes, states, kingdoms, provinces, etc., to advocate for self-rule where there are imbalances and blatant marginalization of the agitators-just like the Ndigbo, who has been treated as second rate or classless citizens in the same nation where some parts of the country claimed, "they are born to rule." Ndigbo no doubt, has been brow-beaten, subterfuge, trampled upon and marginalized by successive governments in Nigeria, and there is no reprieve in sight¬ as the Northern cabal and their co-conspirators the Yoruba traitors continue to unleash mayhem on the Igbo race while serving them bitter pills as a recipe.

Since independent till date, no Igbo man has ruled the nation called Nigeria. People will mention the Late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. He was a mere ceremonial Head of state while Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was in charge of governance. So, does it mean that for the past fifty five years, no Igbo man is capable or found worthy to rule the Nigeria nation? Mr. Nnamdi Kalu, is an armless and harmless agitator, and therefore poses no threat to Buhari´s administration. Nnamdi Kalu like any other Nigerian has the sovereign right to ask for self-determination of his people-which in this instance, falls on the Igbo race. It is on record and a very well-known fact before every Nigerian-even those yet unborn, that the Igbos in Nigeria has been and are still marginalized by the rest of the country for reasons bothering on their defeat during the civil war of 1967-70.

What Muhammadu Buhari and his cabal ought to ask is why the agitations? Why the scramble for the Sovereign State of Biafra 45 years after the civil war ended? Is this agitations germane to our unity as a nation and what does it connote afterwards? Sincerely, if the Buhari administration decides to vent his frustrations on Ndigbo simply because they did not vote for him, that will surely spell doom and ultimately be his waterloo. Think of it and tell any right thinking Igbo man why would Ndigbo not agitate for self-rule-when in the present despoto-cracy, no Igbo son or daughter is found worthy to hold any top post in the Buhari led  government. I am compelled to ask Buhari how many Boko Haram has he arrested and detained incommunicado? How has he faired since assumption of office as the Preesident in quelling the callous and merciless brutal killings of innocent Nigerians by members of Boko Haram-his pet project?

In attempt to fool Nigerians, he, upon assumption of office, moved the army headquarters to Borno by fiat without consulting the national assembly-all in the name of tackling the Boko Haram merciless and senseless massacre of innocent souls. Till date, the army is neither here nor there. They are still wallowing in the Sambissa forest without success. All they know is how to court martial soldiers who refused to face Boko Haram due to obsolete weapons provided by the army of which Buhari was a General. Shamefully, it is the same Buhari that has come out to openly declare that he will not resign if he fails to defeat the insurgents. With this unambiguous statement coming from a President who was an army General, we are left with no choice to come to the inevitable conclusion that Buhari is not willing to wipe out Boko Haram as he promised during his electioneering campaign.

It should be noted that...“Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.”(Imperial Majesty Haile Makonem Ras Tafari Selassie I  of Ethiopia). Also, it shows as we know earlier, that, Buhari is one of Boko Haram´s grand patron. Before he became the President, he has at different fora asked why is the Goodluck Jonathan´s administration killing members of Boko Haram? Yes, he did not mince words in asking that provocative question.

Senator Ali Ndume from Borno state where Boko Haram was founded, was arrested when it became obvious that he is one of the mentors and sponsors of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents. In fact, Ali Sauda Umar Konduga (a.k.a Usman al-Zawahiri) one of the most dreaded commanders of the Boko Haram confessed that he is one of their sponsors and when his house was raided, some members of the Islamic sect were found feeding fat in his home while preparing to launch another senseless attack on innocent southerners, especially the Igbos who are mainly Christians. Before we could shout Boko, he was charged to court and subsequently released to continue his sponsorship of the Islamic Jihad against Christians. His release is as a result of pressure from men like Buhari and his czarism acolytes. 

Since the beginning of the struggle for the actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, no uniform personnel or law abiding civilian has been killed by the agitators. But, the Nigeria Police and the army have been killing, maiming, jailing, detaining incommunicado Ndigbo that came out for peaceful rally in support of the agitation for the Sovereign State of Biafra.

If Ndigbo goes up in arms struggle like Boko Haram, it will be dubbed civil war, while Boko Haram that has for over seven years gone up in arms butchering innocent Nigerians and dissecting pregnant women estimated at thousands-most whom are mainly Ndigbo, are dubbed religious insurgents. What Muhammadu Buhari and his barbaric administration ought to eschew acting timidly and primitively in the 21st century. 

He should know is that¬ "you cannot beat a child and ask him not to cry." 

Ndigbo are crying now, no one cares to know about their plights, but when the sound of gun booms, then the Hausa/Fulani´s parasites and their Yoruba predators will rise up in their so called defense of the sovereignty of Nigeria as an indivisible entity. Let them not bask in the euphoria of their success during the civil war-realizing that the world has gone nuclear and with the aid of technology which the Ndigbos are blessed with, they will not find any arms confrontation as easy they are imagining.

Every reasonable Nigerian should tell the man in Aso Rock Villa, that he should braze up for the challenges ahead of him, rather than search for people and issues to be used as excuses. Six months after the inauguration of his government, he is yet to know where he is going, where to start from and what to do, despite being Head of state as a military junta and now as a civil president. I said it during the campaign for the presidential election that Muhammadu Buhari is a despot who don´t know anything more than brutality. Today, he is replicating my postulations. Of course, how can you allow an autocrat and man who is not well versed to be in charge of multi-cultural, multi-religious, multi-tribal, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-talented, multi-intelligent individuals, groups and her people? It is a misnomer and we will all pay the inescapable price. 

Buhari has no iota of democratic knowledge needless to ask of democratic norms. He does not know that democracy accommodates all shades of human agitations. He has never undergo any tutorials about democracy and what it stands for. He is still livid, always wanting to go when he has not been commanded to do so. He forget to know that he is no longer in khaki uniform. He enjoys arresting and detaining southerners, especially the Igbos whenever he is in charge of government.

All he understands is....."ranka-dede, kill and go....yo wa....in-sha-Allah.Kuoo!!"

While he was the head of the despotic military junta, he killed Bartholomew Owoh, Lawal Ojuolape and Bernard Ogedengbe for being in possession of pinches of cocaine, an offence committed before Buhari over threw Shagari. That was how he snuffed out the lives of three promising young men in cold blood by firing squad. Another national tragedy and a hallmark of his despotic rule.Today, Mahammadu Buhari has refused to kill members of Boko Haram who are wreaking incomprehensible havocs everywhere.  Whenever opportunities beckons on him, he always try to spread czarism against the wish of the masses, hence he has always been a failure. Detaining Nnamdi Kalu has no meaning and it is shameful for an administration to be afraid of only a broadcaster broadcasting from outside the shores of Nigeria. It is sheer cowardice on the part of the government. Until the marginalization of Ndigbo stops, there will be no peace in the nation called Nigeria. 

I am using this medium to ask all right thinking people to rise up to the challenges and dangers posed by Buhari´s "milito-cratic" administration, by asking him to release an innocent Nnamdi Kalu, forth-with-unconditionally. What he may deem innocuous may boomerang against him!

He should know that Nigeria is on the brink of precipice, and he, Buhari, is swatting on a keg of gun powder that may blow him out of office sooner than he bargained. A stitch in time will ultimately save nine!

SENATOR ABARIBE'S ELECTION NULLIFIED

Senator Abaribe’s Election Nullified

The election of a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has been nullified by the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Umuahia on Monday.

Delivering the judgement, the lead judge stated that the election of Senator Abaribe was inconclusive due to irregularities in two local government areas namely Obi Ngwa and Ugwunagbo

The candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chris Nkwonta, had petitioned the tribunal seeking nullification of Abaribe’s election on the basis of electoral irregularities.

Speaking with SaharaReporters on phone, Senator Abaribe said that his team were confused about the ruling stating that his legal team has applied for a Certified true copy of the judgement so as to guide him in deciding on an appropriate response.

Senator Abaribe, a three-term senator was first elected to represent Abia-South Senatorial District at the Nigerian Senate in 2007.

Although Nigeria gained partial independence from Britain on October 1, 1960, it was not totally independent until 1963 when the Declaration of Independence was signed.

The name “Nigeria” is derived from the word “Niger” – the name of the river that constitutes the most remarkable geographical feature of the country. Nigeria is a country of 923,768 square kilometers, bound to the west by Benin, to the north by the Niger and Chad Republic, east by the Republic of Cameroon, and south by the Gulf of Guinea. The country gained independence from the British government on Oct. first 1960, and became a republic in 1963. The journey to independence started with some constitutional developments in Nigeria, these constitutional developments saw the country attaining self-rule in some quarters in 1957 and total liberation on Oct. 1st 1960.

In Nigeria, whenever elections are held, there are words that are so synonymous with the Nigerian journalist and the elite class to describe the emerging scenario thereof. Words such as….“Mandate” or impasse are used sporadically by all to paint the real picture of the nation.

What is mandate? I will not be wasting my precious time illustrating what mandate means than telling everyone in the simplest term what mandate really depicts for ease of understanding. Mandate, according to the English dictionary simply means....."An official order or commission to do something."

The kind of order or commission determines where the pendulum swings. Know it that he who gives order and whom order is given to must agree to make the order work or else, it is either the order is flouted or the person ordered to do something but refuses to it will be queried and perhaps relieve of his post.

Impasse was the most used word after the 1993 Presidential election held on the June, 1993 that was annulled by the infamous Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida´s administration. For close to three years, the entire Nigeria media was awashed with this word. Impasse simply means deadlock or a problem that has no immediate solution or call it cul-de-sac. This was because the Babangida administration refused to listen to the voice of reasoning and the songs of decent wisdom calling for the revalidation of the annulled election.

But in the emerging four years, what we may stay glue to or be hearing from the nation´s seat of power, Aso Rock, will be....” Who goes there? Enemy or friend? Advance to be recognized....!” Yowaa.....Oga Mr. President. Ranka dede manya... Sai Buhari, et al

In fact, many more Inyarinyas will surely be taken into the glorious purdah inside the Aso Rock to serve as Presidential fleet of Inyarinyas. After all, we only have one first (Mata) lady and tens of concubines always assembled by successive Presidents and no one gives a hoot. Kai walahi, you want to lose your life for daring to write or mention the Presidential fleet of Matas? Kwo ha ka ba? Ba damuwa....!

You don´t need a soothsayer to warn you that you MUST be a Muslim extremist to cross the gates leading to Aso Rock, if not the entire Abuja beginning from May the 29th, 2015. Heaven will rejoice if Southerners dare escape the mountains of impediments that they will be made to pass through to see their Vice President. Forget about the President. It will be easier to see God than Mr. President, except you belong to the league of decapitators of fellow human being ably backed by the Caliphate.

If per adventure such occurs or not, you can´t blame Mr. President. He fought gallantly for it and he got it! Not because he is the best, but because he is from the Oligarchical North where the sun never sets when it comes to wresting powers from other tribes in our butchered nation.

On March, 28th 2015, the most populous black nation, Nigeria, had an election that ushered in the new President of our beloved fatherland on May 29th, 2015. Men and women trooped out in their millions to exercise their inalienable civic rights. The right to vote and be voted for. Everyone was allowed to make his or her choice. A choice of who will rule them in the next four years. Mark you, Nigeria had never and may never elect a leader. All we have are rulers. For the avoidance of doubt, there are differences between a ruler and a leader. That may be a matter of discuss for another day.

I intend reminding everyone of the message I sent to the entire Nigeria nation just some hours away from that epic election. However, I feel it may not be too necessary to continue to replicate the scenarios especially when events and circumstances has dittoed otherwise.

On that very grateful date, Nigerians went to the poll like any other nation. Two prominent gladiators emerged through their various political parties as Presidential flag bearers. It is no news any more than one was favored to win while the other was favored to lose through the satanic connivance of the aristocrats in the North and the South West. They held series of clandestine meetings to pull down the walls of Aso Rock should their preferred candidate lose that election-all in their desire to satisfy their egoism, their want of power and looting that will leave the Nigeria state in comatose situation till the eternity. They concocted all sorts of evil along the way.

Of the two musketeers, one is a civilian and he is the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan while the other is a well-known Zombie since the time of yore. He has a pedigree as one of the most ruthless dictator Nigeria ever had. The signs and the wonders done through his jackboots never cease to linger in the memory of noble men and women of his generation.

The Zombie became the crowned prince of victory even before ballots were opened. He was the anointed messiah. Messiah? Yes, he is the expected avatar. He is the charming prince of discipline, the only one that can tell Boko Haram haka hiki? And they will obey with a loud voice........ranka dede mutum yowaaaa! Yankuri …..et al.

That was what led to the choice of the masses. Nigeria needs the sponsors and apostles of Boko Haram and anti-semitic establishments to rule, so that there will be peace. No man, not even the outgoing President has the muscle to stop the callous carnage. No! Never! Who bore Monkey?

How can a branded Islamic infidel stop the well supported Boko Haram when his head is also on demand just like the head of John the Baptist? He must leave or hell will lose against the Yan-mirins from the South-South and South-East. They are not Nigerians, if at all they are counted as Nigerians, they don´t deserve to come near Abuja, needless to ask for any passage to Aso Rock.

There are first, second and third class citizens in Nigeria and of course, there are classless citizens of same nation. Hitherto, that has been their cry against the Goodluck Jonathan`s rise to the Presidency. They felt, they made the most grievous mistake of their life time by allowing a Yan-mirin to become their President. The way out or the way forward is to kick him out in the most inglorious manner any President had ever witnessed. Indeed, their agitations came to reality on that fateful 28th March, 2015.

By hook and crook, the incumbent President was supposedly voted out of power, because that is the only way their mathematical equation will become a theorem.

A theorem propounded by the Caliphate, the Obasanjo’s and Bola Ahmed Tinubu`s dynasties. No qualms! They are the victors and the South-South is the vanquished. Eka ro omo iya, ekunle omo Oduá …....! You all have succeeded in exhibiting the eternal treachery that you are known for. President Goodluck Jonathan surely left office on the 29th May, 2015 so that your desires will be met. I do not have any remorse for Goodluck Jonathan, because he was dinning and winning with known enemies in the name of political god-fatherism and he paid the supreme price.

But, let us not lose sight of the fact that there is always a day of reckoning. A day will come when the South-South and the South-East will not know peace-as we shall fight as we deem it necessary, for we know we shall win-as we are confident in victory, because good will surely triumph over evil.

In-here-so-far the Nigeria nation has mandated Buhari to perch at the helm of affairs of the nation, not through the barrels of the gun this time, what more can we ask for? He should know that the Nigeria masses are the pipers´ player and they should dictate the tune. The tune to constant and uninterrupted electricity, good road networks, good medical care, affordable education, employment at all levels, empowerment of the masses in wealth creation through soft loans and subsidies, justice and fairness to all and the inevitable eradication of one of his puppet projects, the Boko Haram.

Maj. General Buhari (rtd) and his team of seasoned looters should take into consideration that they all will be held accountable by this generation and generation-next should they fail to deliver, because we have come to realize that ….......”“Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.” (Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie1 of Ethiopia.)

What Buhari and his unknown team must know and hate is the recurring insidious moves of successive Presidents against the youths of our nation through oratory massaging of their psyche with unrealistic promises. That will be detrimental to his administration and just like his predecessor; he will be shown the way back to Daura even before the expiration of his tenure. Oligarchical sarcasm must be eschewed, religious bigotry will not be tolerated and he should never make the mistake of trying to colourate the Presidency with mind-benders, soul wreckers and never do wells in our society.

Failure to adhere to this tenet, will rubbish the essence of his ascension to the Presidency. He should realize that without success in these spheres, the Victory, we celebrate today; the suffering that we have all endured will be to no avail.

To win the War against corruption, to overcome the enemy upon the fields cannot alone ensure the Victory in the Presidency. The cause of poverty must be removed. Each tribe's rights must be secured from violation. Above all, from the human mind, he must erase all thoughts of humiliations as a solution. Then and then only will hatred cease.

Nigerians are the Mandators, the Presidency is the mandate while Buhari and co., are the mandated. No voice will be loud, no voice should be muffled, no tribe should be alienated in the name of party affiliation, religious believes or numerical strength. Should Buhari with his “Keu” certificates allow the elites to hijack his government, that will be the death knell to his administration and that will surely be his waterloo.  Much as I sympathize with his educational backwardness, for I am very sure that Buhari do not know how many Zero is in a billion, he should be mindful of those he will appoint to sensitive positions in the next dispensation.

It will be fool-hardy for the APC as a political party, to bask in the euphoria of victory to appoint willy-nilly individuals or individuals reputed to be sworn klepto-crats into his administration.

Upon Buhari, Nigerians are optimistic, but I need to remind us all that there will be wars and wars and there is war already hanging in the air for the APC and the do-gooders who has used their looted funds to sponsor Buhari´s campaign. It will only take some hours after his swearing in before the bubble will begin to burst. Can Buhari contain the egoistic balance of the political Kabiyesi like Bola Tinubu and Obasanjo? Can Buhari give Nigerians affordable and uninterruptable electricity? Can Buhari make life more meaningful to Nigerians? Can or will Buhari ever confront and defeat his fellow extremists in Boko Haram conclave in the Sambissa forest? Can Buhari deliver? Can he cope without the usual military rule of “obey before complain” in a democratic set up in the nation called Nigeria? Can he cope with the vulturistic tendencies and the Oliver Twist demands of the looting sharks in the nation´s legislative chambers? Can he? The rat race will be too fierce to contend. Only time will tell.....!

THE LEADERSHIP OF THE FEDERATION OF NIGERIAN COMMUNITY SPAIN (FNCS) NOT FOR SPANISH CITIZENS

THE LEADERSHIP OF FEDERATION OF NIGERIAN COMMUNITY SPAIN (FNCS) NOT FOR SPANISH CITIZENS.

As the election to the Federation of Nigerian Community Spain (FNCS) comes up in November, it is expedient to draw the attention of Nigerians living in Spain to the manipulations, deceptions and exploitations they have been subjected to out of ignorance by those who claim to be leaders and elder statesmen over them but are nothing but wolfs in sheep skin. These are Spanish citizens of Nigerian extract, who have by virtue of obtaining the Spanish nationality have renounced their Nigerian citizenship. Of what moral, legal and constitutional rights have such people over Nigerians to direct the affairs of patriotic and well -meaning Nigerians in Spain. That amounts to a new kind of colonialism or interventionism by Spain on Nigeria.

“My people perish because of lack of knowledge”. Nigerians in Spain have been wallowing in a state of ignorance and the wolfs in their midst have cashed on their ignorance to pull a veil over their eyes to blindfold them not to see and know their rights or what belongs to them. Hence the leadership of FNCS and NIDO has been hijacked for years by this group for their selfish interest to the detriment of Nigerians in Spain. Until my protest with some concerned Nigerians two years ago, that the last FNCS election should be cancelled or postponed until awareness about the association which has over the years operated as a secret cult unknown to majority of Nigerians who they claim to represent is created. For more than a decade the activities of FNCS has been run as a mushroom and kitchen cabinet by the Spanish citizens who have been calling the shots in the affairs of the association. Not because of their love for Nigeria but for their selfish purposes. Among them is the outgoing incumbent president, Emmanuel Udiebe, whose emergence as the president of FNCS is a fraud by virtue of his status as a Spanish citizen.

Above all is Dr. Joe Illoh, a renowned Spanish citizen who has made himself the ALFA and OMEGA of the Nigerian community in Spain. Joe Illoh is the custodian of the FNCS constitution which he sole handedly drafted and enshrined clauses that favors and enslaved the leadership of FNCS to Spanish citizens like him. Illoh has constituted himself as a demi-god among the Nigerian community that you dare not cough where he is or have contrary view to anything he does or say. Any attempt to see contrary to his opinion is met with acts of intimidation, antagonism and threats, of which I have been a victim and remains as an eternal foe.

The most recent of his flagrant exhibition of his bloated ego as the Sonum bonum of the FNCS was exhibited at the last congress of the FNCS in Murcia on August 28 where he loquaciously said that he purposely came to the congress because of Flourish Arohia. Why? Just because Flourish had the audacity to voice out that it is not proper for Nigerians with Spanish nationality to be at the helm of affairs of the FNCS. Such is the antics of the man whom some Nigerians have been hoodwinked to worship as an elder statesman and these are the caliber of leaders and people Nigerians in Spain are to bestow honors. I think such is devious.

I would like to put certain facts clear to Nigerians in Spain.

Nigeria is a sovereign nation and has not relinquished her sovereignty to Spain.

The constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria supersedes that of the FNCS or any other association on issues that pertains to Nigerians.

Nigeria and Spain do not operate dual citizenship. Therefore it is quiete wrong for someone who needs a visa to travel to Nigeria to champion the cause of true Nigerians in Spain.

I am not against anybody taking up Spanish nationality for best reasons, as far as he stays within the bounds or limits of his status. But the repugnant behavior of our people over the rest of Nigerians has called for cause for concern. And we cannot close eyes to their manipulations anymore. “If an idol becomes too troublesome, it will be shown the stick from where it was carved”

Irrespective of what interpretation or coloration Illoh and his cohorts may give it, the leadership of the Nigerian community in Spain is for Nigerians. And any attempt to subvert that would not be acceptable to Nigerians in Spain anymore. Therefore I call on Nigerians in Spain to resist any attempt by any group of persons to trample on their rights. Also the Nigerian embassy Spain should be informed about this malaise. All those gunning for election to the FNCS executive should be screened to make sure they are true Nigerians. And all those to vote and be voted for should be Nigerians. Any attempt to manipulate that will be strongly resisted by well- meaning Nigerians in Spain.

 According to the lyrics of Bob Marley, “You can fool some people sometimes, But you can't fool all the people all the time. So now we see the light…Nigerians in Spain get up and fight for your rights. ”First fool is not a fool, but second fool is a proper foolish”

I know what I have said might hurt or offend many people, but what I have stated is the abject truth and I have no regrets.
